Boogie or Surfboards?

Just had a few days of sunshine, so "seized the day" and headed down to some as yet undiscovered by me local-ish beaches. Took some boogie boards as I had my son and daughter with me. Noticed the waves were looking good, about 3ft so ran in with the boogie boards (not foam cheapies, but surf shop mid range quality items) , it was great!, the kids loved it, the waves were wild-ish and we felt at one with nature and its elements.....Shame about the shed loads of jellyfish that were coming in with the tide, but we only noticed those towards the end of our session, just as well we had our shorty wetsuits on!, it was pretty gross to see these slimy creatures littering the sand too!, still we had a great day despite the creepy, slimy floating blobs. Did try a 6 ft 2 surfboard but in these waves the boogie boards rocked, way to go!!!
